hmm.. modules...
sianz.. cannot get the prescribe elective i wan.. aka PE.. dono why.. i put many many oso cannot get.. end up now left a few only, mainly HL804, HL808, EM108 and HS808.
HL808 = magic realism = literature module, tried to sit in for lecture today, but the lecturer a bit crap.. at a rather large lecture theatre, he refuses to use the mike, and worse part is, he talk at a volume as if he is conversing normally.. with almost no attempt to project his voice and make it audible.. and when ppl said they cant hear, he ask them to come to the front rows... but the problem is.. i am at the 4th row from the last, and there is only 2 rows in front and i am oso struggling veri veri hard juz to catch some of the words he say.. so how? i sit for 10mins and when i cant get anything from him, i decided to leave, i din even manage to get a proper intro to the module.. perhaps i am losing something good as a module.. but i guess i definitely din lose a decent lecturer >.<
HL804 = words and images = literature modules too, this one i wasnt able to attend juz yet as the lessons are on wednesday, and last wed is national day. So perhaps i will go for the 1st hr this wed to see how things are...
EM108 = some module on environmental considerations, offered by CEE, seems quite interesting, in fact i have already added it and dropped HL804. Unfortunately, it is also at wed, and it clashes with HL804, so i have to go see which one is better...
HS808 = sociological module mainly on cultures. Apparently this module is catered to those with no socio background, and apparently the course content seems to be something i am pretty familiar with (as i have took a number of Socio GEs). Taking this mod will nett me a higher chance of getting good results, but i doubt i will learn much.. and the minus pt is that the date of the exam is the same as one of my core. Good thing is tat this mod is after my core, bad thing is, i might not be able to perform optimally for this paper.. as such, i shall place it at my personal waiting list
